Job Responsibilities:
- Follow design specifications to set-up steel and wood forms
- Follow design specifications to set-up granular base and steel reinforcement materials
- Operate power vibrations to compact on concrete
- Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specifications
- Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand power tools
- Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
- Waterproof, damp-proof, and restore surfaces
- Repair, resurface, and replace all worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience
- Curb and gutter experience are a must
- Knowledge of the City of Edmonton is a great asset
- Strong work ethic and an ability to work in a team setting
- Smartphone (iPhone 6S or Android 8 OS, newer with 4GB of ram)
- Able to always communicate in a courteous and professional manner
- Valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract
- Must have your own transportation
