A STAR STAIN & RAILING LTD. located at Unit 4, 12125 86 Avenue Surrey, BC Canada V3W 3H8 is urgently looking to hire 2 Full-time/Permanent Carpenters
Duties Include:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
Prepare layouts according to building codes, using measuring tools
Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware
Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, erect walls and roof systems
Maintain, repair and renovate wooden structures in residential and commercial buildings
May supervise other construction workers.
Completion of secondary school, minimum 3 years of relevant work experience and good skills in English language are required.
Salary is $ 29.00 /hour (40hours per week).
