Ketza is seeking experienced Carpenters for projects throughout the Yukon. Come work with a great team!
Duties:
– Installing wooden structures such as decks, ramps, trusses, joists, partitions, rafters, framing, blocking, formwork
– Finish carpentry including millwork, shelving, trim
– Installing insulation, VB, cladding, roofing
– Installation of doors, frames, windows
– Adding fittings and fixtures including accessories, door hardware, hinges, locks, and closures
– Selecting materials as per the requirements of the project and sourcing materials that fits within budget and specifications
– Reading blueprints and designs prepared by architects, construction professionals, and ensuring they meet building code recommendations and requirements.
Skills:
– Red Seal or an active apprenticeship in Carpentry
– Demonstrated knowledge of building regulations and codes
